Corporate Affairs Commission Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited visits The President Abuja Cooperative Federation, Mr. Emmanuel Atama

The President Abuja Cooperative Federation, Mr. Emmanuel Atama today received the near Management Committee of the Corporate Affairs Commission Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited who were on the Courtesy visit to the Federation.

The President of the CAC Staff Cooperative briefed the Federation President on the activities of the Cooperative and solicited for greater collaboration to deliver on the mandate. Responding, the Federation President commended the CAC Staff Cooperative and stated the commitment of the Federation to supporting Cooperatives always in service delivery to their members.

Achieving Food Security for Cooperative Members.

Project Jire of the Ecwa Church Wuse II through the Accord Thrift and Investment Cooperative Society Limited is determined to achieving food security for her members.

On hand was the Executive Secretary of the National Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Atama who put them through the process of achieving the feat through the Cooperative Family Feeding programs.

This is the cooperative strategy to achieving the SDG 1, eliminating extreme hunger and poverty.

The Cooperative Development Summit Day 2

The Cooperative Development Summit Day 2 which was the final day came to a successful conclusion with the constitution of the Steering Committee that will see to the emergence of the CFAN led Cooperative Development Fund at the 1st Quarter of 2022.

Other resolutions include entrenching standards, good governance, performance rating, risk management to deliver on cooperative mandate to our teaming members across the Nation.

Yesterday, 24th September, 2021, the Secretary General of the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigeria Universities, Prof. Yakubu Ochefu led a team from the Secretariat on a working visit to the Executive Secretary of the National Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Atama.

The visit which was to firm up drawn work plan for the establishment of Cooperatives in all the universities in Nigeria so as to entrench inclusion of students into the cooperative activities saddle in self-help for self actualization.

Managing Director of The FCT Microfinance Bank was on a working visit to the Federation.

The President of Abuja Cooperative Federation, Mr. Emmanuel Atama yesterday received the Managing Director of The FCT Microfinance Bank who was on a working visit to the Federation.

The Bank and the Federation is build bridges that will engender inclusive growth and development amongst cooperative members in the FCT under the Central Bank Financial Inclusion Strategy.

Today, Mallam Nuhu Muazu, Head Development Finance Department was on a working visit to the Abuja Cooperative Federation was received by the President, Mr. Emmanuel Atama.

The visit was in furtherance of the financial inclusion drive in the FCT with respect to the agriculture and SME support programs of the Central Bank of Nigeria for Cooperatives in the FCT Abuja working through CFAN for ABCOF Members.

A 2 Day Cooperative Good Governance Training for over 200 participants of the NOGALSS Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited for Coordinators from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT

Another milestone achieved now in the area of skill acquisition and employment generation.

The Executive Secretary of the National Cooperative Financing Agency of Nigeria (CFAN), Mr. Emmanuel Atama in company of the CFAN 1st Vice President, Chief (Mrs.) Sarah Anaba and Mr. Sunday Agida of the Unified cooperative platform facilitated a 2 Day Cooperative Good Governance Training for over 200 participants of the NOGALSS Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited for Coordinators from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT held on 15th – 16th September, 2021 at the FCT Mads Education Department Complex, Karu, Abuja.

NOGALLS Cooperative has come to address issues of skill gaps and employment using the Cooperative instrumentality.
